As a nationally certified swimming coach with United States Swimming, Mark has been helping swimmers refine their swimming skills for many years. Mark has taught kids and adults alike how to swim, and swim effectively. He has developed several national level swimmers.

Mark can share with you his vast experience and knowledge of the finer points of swimming. Whether you already know how to swim and would like to improve your skills, or you would like to learn, Mark has the expertise and the patience to take you as far as you would like to go in the sport. Swimming is the sport you can enjoy for a lifetime.

"When I was nine, I had drowned and was resuscitated. I had been deathly afraid of the water ever since, but I knew that swimming is a skill everyone should have. Mark understood the psychological effects that drowning had on me, and within 2 and a half weeks, had me actually swimming laps! Thanks to Mark's knowledge and patience, I now have a skill that will last me a lifetime."

Exercising in the water is an excellent was to increase your cardio vascular fitness level as well as your muscle tone and strength. It's a wonderful addition to any fitness program, whether you use it as a stand alone program, or as a cross training aspect to your fitness regime.

"I had always heard that exercising in the water was a great workout, but I had no idea just how good a workout it could be! I'm definitely going to be making it a more permanent part of my fitness program, and I am telling everyone that they should give it a try. They'll love it!"

Arthritics, patients with back problems, stroke patients, organ transplant recipients, injury recovery patients, RSD patients, pre- and post-surgery patients, the elderly, in addition to people with problematic joints or weight management issues all have different fitness needs, challenges, and goals. Aquatic Personal Training for Special Populations is a highly specialized, aquatics program designed with the individual's needs, challenges and goals in mind.

"My hips had to be replaced due to severe arthritis. My doctor was so impressed with how quickly I recovered from my first operation and attributed it to my work with Mark prior to my surgery and then again afterwards. He insisted I continue the program through both pre- and post-surgery for my second hip surgery. I highly recommend this program to anyone who is getting ready to have surgery, or has and medical issues regarding exercise. My doctor does, too!"
